lesser news: next one coming not before July… probably.
it’s getting close to my wedding date (I’m getting married!), so i’ll be cutting back production further. Though, I plan to experiment and see if I can come up with something even less animated.
i’m trying to find something that I can release in a more timely manner, in addition to the current stuff. any sugggestions on what you’d like to see are welcome. drop’em like they’re hot in the comment section, please.

Married? Congrats. But I feel you already said that like a year ago. So I’m assuming this is wife 2 or 3 by now. Slow down johnink! Leave some for the rest of mankind.
As for quicker ideas, maybe get even less animated. No more color, and even less refined animations. Or maybe turn some of your animation ideas into comics. That’s a quicker way to get the jokes across. Or even just write, that’s the least animated thing you could do.

I’m hosting an Urnesto viewing party next week and had a few questions:
1. Is it in bad taste to serve eggplant as a snack? I’m not sure if that would show Urnesto respect or would be considered obscene.
2. My neighbor is an Eggplant Wizard fan and always tells me how lame Urnesto is. I’m worried he’s going to crash my party. Any suggestions to keep the peace?
3. At the UCon12 panel you mentioned there were big changes coming to the Urnesto universe. Will we being seeing those changes on next weeks comic?

2. shoot em with an arrow. that always makes people reconsider their life choices.
3. this could almost be considered a gritty reboot of the franchise. it takes place years later in a post-apocalyptic new york. urnesto is now a gay single cop trying to feed his eight starving eight-year olds on his meager salary, but he just can’t bring himself to follow the rules in his precinct. danny devito plays the chief of police that yells at him all the time. Of course, none of this comes up in the comic, but it’s vaguely implied.
